We’re Hiring: Project Manager – K-12 Construction (SCUC ISD)
About LMC Corporation
LMC Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our SCUC ISD contract. This position is responsible for managing multiple small-to-medium construction and renovation projects within occupied educational facilities while serving as the primary point of contact for the school district.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in K-12, municipal, or public-sector construction and excels at client communication, project coordination, budgeting, and schedule management.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with district representatives.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Review estimates, change orders, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
- Monitor project quality, schedule, and financial performance.
- Produce weekly project progress reports and updates for district stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience managing K-12, municipal, or public-sector construction projects.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Proficiency with RS Means CostWorks or similar construction estimating platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience working in occupied school environments.
- Knowledge of Texas public procurement and maintenance construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
