Responsibilities:
- Leading the facilitation of the risk management process; identification, assessment, and proactive management of risks (both threats and opportunities).
- Ensuring risk data is kept up to date and using industry best practice according to ISO31000:2018 standards.
- Engaging the project team in the risk management requirements proactively and establishing a risk management culture.
- Developing Risk Management Plan, maintaining risk registers, preparing risk reports & analyses to support management in decision-making.
- Automating and increasing efficiency in elements of the implemented risk management processes, tools, and templates.
- Leading risk workshops with the project teams, including partners and client.
- Integrating Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for Cost and Schedule in the project, helping management interpret results and make decisions using QRAs.
- Ensuring consistency of approach and knowledge sharing across projects.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience with large & complex engineering focused projects (major infrastructure, rail, highways, oil & gas, nuclear).
- Previous experience in consultancy environments.
- Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA).
- Expert with industry tools such as @risk, Safran, ARM, Xactium.
- Broad and diverse background i.e., Project Management, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), or Data analytics.
- Ability and interest to deep dive into complex analytical issues.
- Competencies equivalent to PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional).
- Mastery of MS Office tools (e.g., Excel) to support these analytics is required.
- Willingness and ability to travel (nationally/internationally – around 30%)
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
