Overview In this role you will manage large piling and ground engineering packages on a multi-million pound project in Suffolk, reporting to the Ops Director and leading site teams. You will drive profitable delivery, oversee resource planning, and ensure safety and quality in line with client specifications. You will collaborate with commercial and estimating teams to support value engineering and competitive tenders, strengthening the division’s reputation. This position offers hands-on leadership in a key civil engineering domain with a strong impact on project outcomes.

Responsibilities - Profitably complete projects per client specifications and ensure client satisfaction
- Plan resources and resolve shortfalls or over-re sourcing in a cost-effective manner
- Coordinate and manage interfaces with other parts of the division
- Ensure personnel and subcontractors work safely and are trained and competent
- Jointly prepare Cost Value Reports and Contract Status Reports with commercial staff
- Provide value engineering input to estimating and lessons learned for better tender quality
- Deliver projects on time to enhance company reputation and pursue further business
- Assist in identifying new client targets and developing approaches with Commercial Manager
Key requirements - Extensive experience at Project Manager level on civil engineering schemes
