Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Placed Recruitment is working with an established General Contractor looking to add an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to its growing team in Charlotte, NC .
This is an opportunity for a construction professional with strong commercial GC experience to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through final closeout while working alongside experienced operations and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement and subcontractor performance
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
- Lead subcontractor and owner meetings
- Monitor project costs, schedules and overall project performance
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget
Requirements
- Previous Project Manager or Senior Project Manager experience within commercial construction
- General Contractor experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing ground-up and/or major commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts and project controls
- Experience managing subcontractors and project teams
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the construction lifecycle
- Based in or able to work in the Charlotte, NC market
