We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join a growing and well-established organization serving commercial, municipal, and industrial clients throughout Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who can successfully lead HVAC installation projects from planning through completion while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC projects for commercial, county, and industrial facilities.
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Oversee HVAC system installations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve design, construction, and installation challenges proactively.
- Manage the procurement of HVAC equipment and materials while negotiating cost-effective vendor agreements.
- Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of HVAC industry experience, preferably in project management, construction, or installation oversight.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and installation processes.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7–10 years of overall HVAC industry experience.
- OSHA Certification or SST (Site Safety Training) Card.
- Experience managing commercial, municipal, or industrial HVAC projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and construction site operations.
