As an Electrical Project Manager, you will lead electrical construction projects valued up to $5,000,000, ensuring they are completed safely, profitably, and successfully. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final financial settlement, while embodying Renfrow Industrial’s Core Values. Your leadership will be central to maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, while fostering client partnerships and identifying business growth opportunities. Additionally, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design schematics, choose components, and assist in the assembly and commissioning of control panels.
Project Oversight and Financial Performance
- Take full responsibility for every stage of your assigned projects from start to finish.
- Achieve successful and profitable project delivery for contracts valued between $0 and $5,000,000.
- Collaborate with project staff to review estimates and man-hours, establishing strategies to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Help maintain accurate financial records by ensuring cost and quantity reports are submitted to the Director promptly.
Safety and Quality Standards
- Promote and verify total adherence to all company safety and quality protocols.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by overseeing accident-prevention plans and site housekeeping.
- Ensure all project work aligns with contract plans and specifications to uphold high standards of craftsmanship.
Scheduling and Budget Management
- Convert project estimates into actionable schedules and provide updates to keep timelines accurate throughout the project.
- Manage the project timeline effectively while staying within the established budget.
- Ensure the team is fully aware of the project scope and facilitate cost recovery through change orders when deviations occur.
Procurement and Compliance
- Direct the procurement process and manage all necessary materials, equipment, tools, and subcontractors.
- Conduct all business in accordance with Renfrow internal policies.
- Personally ensure that all contractually required project documentation and notifications are completed without delegation.
Billing, Client Relations, and Business Development
- Prepare and submit timely billings to optimize project cash flow.
- Help drive company growth by building strong client relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.
Project Completion and Team Growth
- Oversee the final project closeout, including settling claims and conducting internal reviews to provide feedback to the estimating and field teams.
- Support professional development by evaluating the performance of superintendents and craftsmen, offering constructive feedback to improve their skills.
This position requires a blend of office-based work and regular visits to active construction sites. You must be comfortable navigating uneven terrain and assessing field conditions firsthand.

- Proven background in industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency with industry software including AutoCAD, Procore, and Bluebeam.
