Overview As a Project Manager at Stantec, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse water sector projects within a collaborative team. You’ll manage client and stakeholder relationships, balance risks with proactive actions, and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality targets. Responsibilities - Lead planning, execution and delivery of a diverse portfolio of water sector projects
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks early and address issues proactively
- Manage project budgets, schedules and resources to meet financial and operational targets
- Prepare and present regular updates and documentation to internal and external audiences
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards across all lifecycle stages
Key requirements - Experience in the Water industry with prior project management and commercial management experience
- Industry-recognised chartership qualification (eg CEng or similar)
- Industry-recognised project management qualification (eg APM PMQ or similar)
- Experience managing multiple deadlines and building successful stakeholder relationships
- Track record of proactive risk management and mitigation in projects
- Experience leading and mentoring team members in project and commercial management
