Transportation/Roadway Project Manager (PE)
The Opportunity
Aguirre & Fields is seeking an experienced Transportation/Roadway Project Manager (Municipal Staff Augmentation) to lead transportation infrastructure projects within the Fort Worth area. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to manage projects from initial planning and design through construction and closeout.
In this role, you will:
- Manage transportation and roadway projects, including intersection improvements, traffic signals, and other transportation infrastructure.
- Oversee all phases of project delivery, from scoping and procurement through construction and closeout.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, utilities, and municipal stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and deliverables.
- Lead design reviews, public meetings, and construction coordination activities.
- Identify project challenges and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
The Ideal Candidate
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5–10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in transportation or roadway projects.
- Strong technical background in transportation engineering, roadway improvements, and related infrastructure.
- Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- FTW-area candidates preferred. Candidates must be available for in-person collaboration at least one day per week, as well as for additional project meetings as needed.
