Project Manager

Lincoln | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office Based) Up to 50,000 + Excellent Long-Term Career Prospects

Some project management roles are about maintaining plans, updating trackers and attending meetings.
This isn't one of them.

This is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy where project managers are trusted to drive delivery, influence clients and make a visible impact. The projects are varied, the expectations are high, and the people who succeed here are those who bring energy, organisation and genuine ownership to everything they do.

Over the last few years, this consultancy has built an outstanding reputation for helping organisations deliver meaningful change. Their leadership team combines deep programme and transformation expertise with a practical, outcomes-focused approach, allowing them to build long-term partnerships with clients who trust them to improve the way their organisations operate.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint another Project Manager to support an expanding portfolio of client projects.

No two projects are the same.

One week, you could be supporting a major software implementation. The next, you might be helping a client deliver organisational change, improve operational efficiency, develop new ways of working or implement improvements across areas such as technology, fleet management, estates strategy or wider back-office services.

The common thread throughout every assignment is transformation. Clients engage this consultancy because they need projects delivered professionally, efficiently and with minimal disruption to their operations. They need people who can bring structure, momentum and clarity to complex initiatives.

That's where you come in.

This role would suit a Project Manager who enjoys being at the centre of delivery. Someone who naturally creates momentum, enjoys building relationships and takes pride in keeping projects moving forward.

You'll be responsible for maintaining project plans, managing RAID logs, coordinating stakeholders, organising and chairing meetings, producing project documentation and ensuring actions are followed through to completion. You'll work closely with clients, challenge where appropriate, hold people accountable and help ensure projects remain on track from initiation through to delivery.

Most importantly, you'll become a trusted partner to your clients.

The successful person will be someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs doing. You'll spot issues before they become problems, chase actions when others have moved on and take genuine ownership of outcomes. You'll be well organised, highly proactive and comfortable managing multiple workstreams while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

The consultancy itself remains deliberately agile and collaborative. Unlike larger organisations, your contribution won't disappear into layers of hierarchy. Your work will be visible, your ideas will be heard and your development will be actively supported.

You'll report into a highly experienced Transformation Programme Manager and work alongside a talented team of project and programme professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients.
For ambitious project managers, the timing couldn't be better. The business is growing rapidly, winning new work and investing heavily in its future. As the organisation expands, opportunities to progress into senior project management, programme management and wider consulting roles are expected to emerge.

We're particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers who can demonstrate:

Experience delivering multiple projects within a structured environment
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
Experience maintaining project plans, RAID logs and governance documentation
The ability to organise, coordinate and facilitate effective meetings
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and organised approach to delivery
The confidence to challenge, influence and drive actions forward
Experience within consultancy, transformation, change, digital or business improvement environments would be advantageous

In Return

Salary up to 50,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working with three days per week in the Lincoln office
Exposure to a diverse range of projects and sectors
Direct access to a highly experienced leadership team
Genuine career progression opportunities as the business continues to grow
The chance to play a visible role within a consultancy that is building an excellent reputation with its clients

If you're looking for a project management role where you'll have real ownership, meaningful client exposure and the opportunity to develop your career within an ambitious and growing consultancy, we'd love to hear from you.
