The Planet Groupis looking for a
Localization Project Managerto join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 4-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule, with PST hours preferred. This person will work closely with the marketing and creative teams, vendors and designers to shape the experience of millions of users around the globe.
Localization Project Manager Responsibilities
- Support marketing localization projects including web pages, visual assets, sales pitch decks, marketing videos, and creative content
- Manage operations with external agencies and vendors and the localization workflow from request creation to job completion
- Manage end to end localization workflows of visual assets, videos, sales decks, and other collateral
- Ensure all elements are delivered on schedule
- Set timelines and manage relationships with vendors, freelancers, and approvers
- Guide creative agencies and designers on localization best practices
Localization Project Manager Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in localization project management
- Experience in style and terminology management
- Thorough knowledge of media files and best practices for localization (Figma, After Effects, subtitling)
- Ability to identify patterns across projects and workflows
- Understanding of translation management technology
- Strong time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a global team environment
- Ability to anticipate project challenges and develop solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
