Product Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (M-Th onsite; Fri remote)
Duration: ~3 months
Pay: $66/hour, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Product Operations Manager to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 3-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid onsite in Beaverton, OR.
Product Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product managers, development teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to align operational processes with overall product strategy and objectives
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate activities across teams to ensure timely and successful product launches
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Implement best practices and workflows to enhance the overall effectiveness of product development and delivery
- Foster open communication channels between teams
- Ensure transparency regarding project status, milestones, and potential challenges
- Facilitate regular status meetings and reporting
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact product delivery
- Collaborate with teams to develop contingency plans and strategies for risk prevention and resolution
- Utilize data analytics to assess product performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights for decision-making
- Generate regular reports for stakeholders
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that products meet established quality standards
- Work with customer support teams to gather and analyze customer feedback
- Integrate customer insights into product operations to drive improvements and enhancements
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors involved in the product development process
- Ensure that external partners align with project timelines and quality expectations
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization
- Collaborate with teams to ensure that personnel and tools are effectively deployed to meet project goals
- Work with finance teams to manage project budgets
- Monitor spending, track expenses, and provide financial updates to stakeholders
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the product operations domain
- Encourage feedback, innovation, and the implementation of lessons learned from previous projects
Product Operations Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
- Experience with Miro and Airtable preferred but not required
- Passion or experience in design operations
- Program and Project management background
- Prior design experience with an operational mindset is a plus or work in product development in sportwear
- Strong communication skills to work with graphic designers, color designers, product designers, footwear and apparel designers
- Detail-oriented and able to visualize the plan to all teams involved
