Technical Project Manager
Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City or Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12 months with the potential to extend
Pay: ~96/hr, DOE
The Planet Group is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City or Cupertino, CA, working onsite Tuesday-Thursday.
Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Plan, track, and launch campaigns and projects that support the ongoing growth and enjoyment of the clients’s media services
- Understand subscription media services, marketing campaigns, product development lifecycles, and flexible, real-time collaboration
- Work in quick and rapid iterative cycles
- Work closely with global and crossfunctional teams such as Engineering, Product, Operations, Business and Marketing
- Prioritize strategic marketing campaigns, feature asks, feature performance evaluation, and partnering with the Marketing team in strategic planning
- Influence and drive decision making for the group as a whole
- Develop and evolve the collaboration platforms used within the team and by cross-functional partners to track and prioritize programs, feature enhancements, and status
- Provide reporting on project, program, and product status across the various business and lifecycles
- Create and manage the tools necessary for marketing, business and product leaders to evaluate and prioritize a large portfolio of projects
Technical Project Manager Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in project and process management with a focus in crossfunctional collaboration and prioritization
- Experience creating and managing project workflows, and prioritizing those projects leveraging collaboration tools such as Quip, Confluence, Wrike, etc.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and present to partners at all levels of the organization
- Expertise in working effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of ambiguity, with only high-level direction
- Experience partnering with product, engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to prioritize new features, programs and capabilities
- Experience tracking and managing multiple projects, businesses and products within tight deadlines, using project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
