Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Production Compliance Integrator to lead the integration of compliance and quality controls into manufacturing and logistics workflows. This role focuses on leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities—particularly PP-PI for process industries or PP for discrete manufacturing—to ensure adherence to global regulatory, safety, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Integration
- Design and implement integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA production modules (PP/PP-PI) and SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance
- Configure systems to support compliance features such as Dangerous Goods, Safety Data Sheet Management, and Product Marketability
Compliance Process Integration
- Embed compliance checks into production and logistics processes including procurement, batch creation, production order release, goods movements, and outbound delivery
System Configuration
- Lead SAP configuration for production-related compliance, including master data setup (e.g., substance data, regulatory lists, dangerous goods classifications)
Integration with Plant Systems
- Design and support integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Utilize technologies such as Control Recipes, Process Messages, IDocs, APIs, or middleware for compliant data exchange
Functional Specification & Testing
- Develop functional specifications and lead testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) for production compliance scenarios
Regulatory Alignment
- Collaborate with EHS, Quality, and Regulatory teams to translate compliance requirements into SAP technical solutions
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Create system and process documentation
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for IT teams and business users
Issue Resolution
- Provide expert-level support for production compliance incidents
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP or PP-PI
- At least 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
- In-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance or legacy SAP EHS modules
- Proven integration experience with MES/LIMS systems
- Strong understanding of compliance standards (e.g., REACH, RoHS, GHS, Dangerous Goods)
- Expertise in SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, APIs, OData)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
