Responsibilities

About the Team: The User Privacy & Responsibility team ensures TikTok meets global privacy, responsibility, and regulatory requirements by driving cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, and Trust & Safety. We translate complex regulations into clear implementation plans that protect users while maintaining high-quality product experiences. Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end delivery of major compliance programs, from scoping through launch. - Translate new regulations into program requirements, timelines, and execution plans. - Align Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Trust & Safety, and Go To Market teams on goals and deliverables. - Proactively identify program risks and drive resolutions. - Develop and maintain program documentation, status updates, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication. - Improve compliance program processes, governance, and cross-functional workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - 3+ years in Program Management, TPM, or cross-functional project leadership. - Experience coordinating with Legal, Policy, Trust & Safety, Product, Engineering, and Go To Market teams. - Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder compliance programs to deliver on time with high quality - Strong communication, documentation, and execution skills. Preferred Qualifications - Successful track record in leading compliance programs for minor safety laws from multiple jurisdictions.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110223 - $202667 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
