The BTC Immigration Product Manager (Global) supports Apple’s short-term business traveler population as part of the Business Traveler Compliance (BTC) Team, ensuring compliance with global immigration and labor laws, Posted Worker Directive Regulations, social security, government audits and internal travel policies. This position requires end-to-end oversight of all compliance aspects of the business traveler journey, ensuring excellent customer service to business travelers, internal stakeholders and senior leaders. The successful candidate will also be required to collaborate with BTC colleagues, advise employees and team leaders, while possessing an ability to work independently, problem solve and identify solutions for time-critical business travel.
Description
Act as BTC representative for immigration technology developments, collecting and relaying team feedback for system enhancements and communicating upcoming technical changes and impact to product ecosystem.
Project manage technology system implementation and enhancements, including conducting User Acceptance Testing and sign off, for compliance changes and employee experience enhancements.
Support complex immigration programs and projects, such as New Store Openings, Country-Specific Expansions and Trip Approval development. Demonstrate pro-active communications, excellent service delivery and escalation of potential issues to senior managers, as required.
Research, interpret and cross-reference immigration and Posted Worker Directive rules and guidance, utilizing vendor feedback, government, embassy and airline websites and official Decrees.
Communicate with employees through Apple’s People Portal, responding in a timely manner to immigration related questions and Trip Approval status inquires. Maintain high quality responses while ensuring SLA response times are met.
Responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Apple iWork programs such as Keynote, Numbers and Pages.
- Experience supporting large business travel programs across all areas of compliance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of global immigration laws, particularly in relation to short-term business travel includingEU Posted Worker Directive, Social Security & Immigration.
- Oversight of various compliance requirements related to business travelers (Appendix 4, Vietnam quarterly filings).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years experience managing business travel immigration services for a large, multi-national tech company.
- At least 10 years experience in supporting technology implementation and project management within the mobility and/or business travel space.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management qualification (PMP or PRINCE 2)
