We are looking for a Product Manager to grow experimentation practice and culture at Mojang. You will leverage industry-proven best practices to help internal teams adopt mature experimentation capabilities, drive high-confidence decision making, and deliver significant impact for hundreds of millions of Minecraft players. You will bring strong expertise in experimentation and optimization and connect technical teams with business outcomes. You appreciate the importance of human insight in shaping and enhancing the product experience. The ideal candidate is driven by curiosity, eager to understand customer intent beyond surface-level statistics, and adept at combining data with intuition.
Responsibilities
- Manage Mojang’s internal experimentation platform, tools, and services in support of multiple product teams
- Establish Experimentation Center of Excellence and evangelize foundational best practices, patterns, and tools. Evangelize a culture of experimentation.
- Partner to establish a roadmap of capabilities to expand the velocity, coverage, and sophistication of experimentation, partnering with various engineering and data science teams to deliver it.
- Provide broad coaching and consultancy for experimenting Mojang product teams
- Partner deeply with high-value product teams at Mojang to directly improve experimentation maturity
- Drive business-critical outcomes across multiple Mojang product areas
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (as pulled from the Role Library):
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 4+ years experience leading experimentation program efforts as part of a product lifecycle

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
