Description
Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to own the strategy and end-to-end execution of the Interviewer Securement Program for corporate university hiring in North America. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role sitting within the Recruiting Operations team, responsible for ensuring Amazon has the right interviewers, in the right place, at the right time — at scale across global hiring seasons.
In this role, you will define the multi-year programmatic strategy for interviewer securement, translating business hiring demand into actionable capacity plans and building the mechanisms to deliver against them. You will drive execution across the full program lifecycle — from forecasting interviewer demand and building roster coverage, to managing escalations and closing capacity gaps in real time. Critically, you will serve as a key cross-functional collaborator, partnering closely with Program Managers across AUTA's Demand, Recruiting Operations, and Enablement teams, as well as external partners in TA Tech and business-aligned TA organizations. You will represent AUTA's interviewer securement requirements on the broader technology roadmap, influencing product prioritization and contributing to the design of scalable, automated solutions. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable setting strategic direction with senior stakeholders and rolling up their sleeves to drive operational delivery with precision.
Key job responsibilities
Program Strategy: Define and evolve the multi-year strategy for interviewer securement across corporate university hiring, aligning with AUTA's broader demand management and hiring season objectives.
End-to-End Execution: Own program delivery from interviewer demand forecasting through roster build, panel readiness, and real-time capacity management across global hiring seasons.
Interviewer Management: Build, maintain, and audit a global interviewer rosters for corporate roles, ensuring sufficient and qualified panel coverage across regions and hiring windows.
Cross-functional PM Collaboration: Partner with Program Managers across AUTA Demand, RecOps, and Enablement teams to align interviewer securement with requisition creation timelines, Steam validation milestones, and hiring season launches.
Tech Roadmap Contribution: Represent interviewer securement requirements in cross-functional technology forums; collaborate with TA Tech, AURA, and external product teams to influence roadmap prioritization and contribute to the design of scalable, automated interviewer management solutions.
Data & Reporting: Own interviewer capacity metrics; track panel health, utilization, and readiness signals to surface risks and inform decisions for RecOps leadership.
Risk & Escalation Management: Proactively identify and escalate capacity risks with clear data and recommended mitigations; maintain a path-to-green for all open gaps.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to reduce manual work, increase interviewer availability, and improve the hiring manager and candidate experience.
