Description
The Process Path Optimization (PPO) team within the Recruiting Operations Center (ROC) is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to drive the execution and delivery of Phase 2 of the process mapping initiative — a critical program that establishes standardized hiring process paths across Global Talent Acquisition (GTA). This role is responsible for owning one of the parent process steps within the hiring lifecycle while maintaining horizontal visibility across all process paths to understand end-to-end dependencies, integration points, and cross-functional impacts.
You will serve as the dedicated program owner for your assigned process domain, while leveraging broad understanding of the full hiring lifecycle to ensure consistency and alignment across all process paths. You operate independently, drive clarity in ambiguous environments, and maintain momentum across interdependent workstreams. Your work directly impacts GTA's ability to deliver the Hiring Process Path Optimizer (HPP) — a critical enterprise dependency — and enables recruiters to focus on high-value activities that yield the highest quality hires.
Key job responsibilities
Process Ownership & Requirements Development
- Own end-to-end requirements development and research for an assigned parent process step within the hiring lifecycle, driving clarity on current-state gaps and ideal-state workflows
- Maintain horizontal understanding across all process paths to identify dependencies, integration points, and opportunities for standardization
- Conduct stakeholder interviews with recruiters, Recruiting Coordinators, and SMEs to gather insights, identify friction points, and document current-state processes
- Translate process discovery findings into actionable requirements in partnership with technical and operational teams
Process Mapping & Job Code Scaling
- Support scaling process mapping efforts beyond the initial top 10 job codes, conducting additional discovery for incomplete or missing process paths across all parent process steps
- Create detailed process artifacts (SOPs, process maps, job aids, summary documents) for each job code with accompanying recommendations
- Establish standard research frameworks and process recommendation templates that enable consistent, repeatable discovery across job families and process domains
Cross-Functional Coordination & Delivery
- Drive alignment across PPO partner teams — RTI (tech intake), MSS (impact analysis), TARC (compliance), Learning (enablement), and TA Delivery — without direct authority
- Accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately to maintain momentum on Phase 2 deliverables
- Leverage horizontal process knowledge to identify cross-cutting improvement opportunities and ensure consistency across process paths
- Support high-priority GTA Leadership Team must-win projects that impact multiple teams or geographies, including investigating process gaps surfaced through WBR and MBR mechanisms
Data & Performance
- Partner with MSS and TAA to evaluate efficacy of process recommendations post-launch and measure adherence to quality drivers
- Define and monitor key success metrics, including Hiring Decision Effectiveness (HDE) impact, process defect reduction, and cycle time improvements
- Perform post-implementation analysis on process changes to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
Documentation & Standardization
- Develop and deliver Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and operational readiness materials to ensure recruiting teams are equipped at launch
- Manage content validation and migration to COREx, ensuring process documentation is accessible, certified, and discoverable through AI tools (e.g., Aza)
- Integrate process change SOPs into the Global HR: Recruiter Toolkit and ensure documentation remains current for all stakeholders
A day in the life
In this role, you will work across programmatic, operational, and recruiting teams within the Recruiting Operations Center, serving as the connective tissue between GTA process needs and scalable solution delivery. On a typical day, you may conduct discovery interviews with recruiters to map process workflows within your assigned domain, partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements for process path integration, review and refine process artifacts with PPO teammates, analyze performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities, coordinate with MSS on impact measurement frameworks, and drive alignment across stakeholders to keep Phase 2 on track. Your key stakeholders and teammates include members of the recruiting organization and the broader ROC.
About the team
The Process Path Optimization (PPO) team was established within the Recruiting Process Optimization (RPO) organization under the Recruiting Operations Center (ROC). PPO serves as the discovery and solution design engine of the RPO flywheel, systematically inspecting recruiting processes to identify inefficiencies, create standard workflows, eliminate redundancies, and leverage technology to automate administrative tasks. PPO is the connector between TA technology, Hiring Science, TA enablement teams, and Global TA (GTA) Delivery teams — collecting insights to recommend the ideal process for candidate identification and selection that enables recruiters to focus on high-value activities and yield the highest quality hire.
