Project Manager
Location: Pleasanton, California (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to support our healthcare operations, particularly within the outpatient quality space. This role involves project and quality assurance management, requiring a candidate who can work independently across multiple projects. The position focuses on administrative management, technical product support, and process improvement in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and project management support for healthcare initiatives.
- Manage a technical product inbox, including ticket resolution and tracking with a strong customer service orientation.
- Gather business requirements from client stakeholders and create technical documentation.
- Facilitate conversations with clinical leaders and other stakeholders to drive process improvements.
- Prepare project documents, presentations, and workflow mapping.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
- Work independently on multiple projects, ensuring all business requirements are clearly defined and met.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Public Administration (MPA), or equivalent graduate-level education is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in healthcare is required. This includes experience in project management within care delivery, healthcare operations, consulting, quality control, or quality improvement. Experience working closely with physicians and familiarity with health systems are necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with health technology or health policy.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with how measures are defined and coded in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
