Summary
The WPC PMO team is looking for an experienced project manager to drive Wallet and Payment projects. We deliver integrated system solutions for Apple’s Payment Platform and work closely with a number of client and server engineering teams and , third-party integration partners. We live in a fast-paced matrix organization where you will need to scope and prepare projects from the beginning across multiple teams, handle documentation, effectively communicate project status, manage project risk, and drive continuous improvement.
Description
As part of the Platform Program team, you will be working closely with Wallet & Payments Services Engineering, Product, and multiple cross-functional teams within Apple, and external partners. You will have the opportunity to lead and facilitate cross-functional engineering discussions. Coordinate aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope definition, and execution through launch. Assist management in assessing and prioritizing projects while actively seeking problem resolutions. Analyze data and report at all levels.
Minimum Qualifications
- This role requires someone with a proven track record in leading major cross-functional projects, working and managing dependencies across internal and external partners, and own the end-to-end project delivery.
- Strong background in system implementation project management using software development techniques and familiarity with software development lifecycle planning.
- Results oriented, highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision in a cross-functional environment at detailed levels whilst taking account of interdependencies at higher levels.
- Familiarity of Software Development Lifecycle planning
- Minimum 6 years of Technical Project and Program Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build positive relationships with cross-functional internal organizations. Navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of solutions. Ability to adapt to changes in business scenarios, projects and resources.
- Strong understanding of modern cryptographic techniques, secure system design, encryption algorithms and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate technical design and requirement brainstorming sessions.
- Effective presentation, oral, and written communication skills with various audiences and levels.
- Have inherent passion to lead, mentor and grow other EPMs in our team.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
