Internal Medicine Faculty – Program Director, FSU College of Medicine (Program Director, FSU COM). Full-time position for a new residency program affiliated with FSU. Located at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay, Panama City, Florida. The role will oversee the Internal Medicine Residency Program (“IM Program”) under the guidance of the Designated Institutional Official (DIO).

Responsibilities
- Clinical teaching and supervision of residents
- Core program clinical teaching
- Clinical practice in internal medicine or applicable subspecialty
- General administration of the residency program
- Participation in Graduate Medical Education (GME) committees and meetings
- GME lecturing/teaching conferences
- GME recruiting/interviewing
- GME research and scholarly activity
- Resident evaluation and monitoring
- Program evaluation
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
- Valid Florida medical license, or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain Florida licensure.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- Minimum of three years of faculty and administrative experience in an ACGME accredited internal medicine residency program.
