Role Overview
Director of Technical Program Management – Bank Tech. Lead programs that deliver critical business goals and build large‑scale products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable platforms, products, or services.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life‑cycle.
- Communicate and collaborate with product, engineering, design, and data science teams.
- Implement solutions as a systems thinker and simplify complex problems.
- Grow and develop a team of TPMs while building the foundations of the TPM practice.
- Drive execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results.
- Collaborate across functions and reporting boundaries to get the job done.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence, listening, and empathy.
Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.
- Preferred: 7+ years designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing.
- 3+ years building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing (preferably AWS).
- 3+ years building highly scalable mobile products and platforms.
- 3+ years experience with Agile delivery and large complex programs.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree (optionally).

Salary is competitively determined based on location and role level. This position may include performance‑based incentive compensation.
