Assistant Director
Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is an 80-bed full-service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Benton, AR, that has been providing quality health care to the residents of Arkansas since 1985. Rivendell Behavioral Health Services has been offering hope to individuals, families, and communities for over 35 years. As a member of the Assessment and Referral department, the Assistant Director provides direct patient care to include the completion of assessments, assisting in the formulation of treatment recommendation, and guides/monitors staff in the day-to-day processes of the department with the guidance of the Director. The Assistant Director interfaces with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities; ensures compliance for quality patient care and compliance with the Joint Commission standards, State Health Department requirements, and all other regulatory standards. The Assistant Director will provide leadership for the department in the absence of the Director.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- Registered Nurse Licensure (RN)
- A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
- An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
- A minimum of two years psychiatric treatment experience is preferred.
- Current CPR or BLS certification. (offered at facility)
- Current Handle with Care training and Verbal De-escalation training. (offered at facility)
