The Senior Product Delivery Manager – BondNav Fixed Income Platform will play a critical role in the continued growth, modernization, and delivery execution of the BondNav platform. This cross-functional role partners with business and technology teams to define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities supporting advisors, wealth management clients, institutional users, and internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with BondNav sales, product, trading, operations, and technology leadership to define platform priorities, roadmap items, delivery sequencing, and measurable business outcomes.
- Translate business strategy, client needs, market changes, regulatory considerations, and platform opportunities into actionable product capabilities.
- Drive feature development across trading workflows, analytics, reporting, onboarding, and post-trade processing.
- Monitor platform performance, user feedback, client needs, competitive trends, and market developments to identify opportunities for enhancement, automation, modernization, and differentiation.
- Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, delivery milestones, and business outcomes to measure feature impact and inform prioritization.
- Produce executive-ready updates, roadmap summaries, delivery dashboards, release summaries, and decision materials.
Project Management, Agile Delivery & Execution Ownership
- Own and manage the delivery pipeline, product backlog, sprint priorities, and execution roadmap with BondNav leadership, technology leads, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Operate within an Agile software development lifecycle, managing planning, execution, releases, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain Jira discipline for epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, risks, defects, and release items.
- Translate business priorities into a structured delivery backlog that supports sprint execution, roadmap visibility, release planning, and measurable outcomes.
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and blockers; upscale issues and drive resolution.
- Coordinate across product, engineering, QA, UX, infrastructure, data, operations, vendors, and external partners to ensure predictable execution and high-quality delivery.
- Drive accountability by ensuring scope, timelines, priorities, risks, and ownership are clearly understood and actively managed.
Fixed Income Trading & Workflow Analysis
- Analyze and document fixed income trading workflows across the trade lifecycle, including pre-trade, order entry, pricing, execution, allocations, confirmations, settlement, reporting, downstream processing, and operational handoffs.
- Work with sales, trading, operations, product, and client-facing teams to identify workflow gaps, onboarding needs, pain points, and opportunities for automation or platform improvement.
- Support enhancements related to fixed income products, advisor and institutional trading workflows, and dealer connectivity.
- Apply knowledge of OMS concepts, trading workflows, trade management, and fixed income platforms to ensure requirements are practical, complete, and aligned to business needs.
- Experience with Bloomberg TOMS or similar fixed income trading, order management, or trade management platforms is a strong plus.
Business Analysis & Requirements Leadership
- Gather and translate business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Partner with Sales, Trading, Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology to ensure requirements reflect business priorities, client needs, workflow realities, and operational controls.
- Analyze business processes, trading workflows, client onboarding, and operational dependencies to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvement, risk reduction, and modernization.
- Perform gap analyses across platform workflows, integrations, controls, reporting, client onboarding, and downstream dependencies.
- Ensure product requirements reflect applicable regulatory, compliance, and supervision considerations, including FINRA, SEC, and MSRB requirements where relevant.
- Maintain documentation of requirements, decisions, risks, implementation plans and stakeholder sign-offs.
Client Onboarding, Adoption & Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in client meetings, onboarding sessions, workflow reviews, platform demonstrations, and post-onboarding feedback discussions as needed.
- Partner with BondNav sales and product leadership to understand client feedback, adoption patterns, onboarding friction, workflow needs, and enhancement opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted product and workflow advisor to internal stakeholders, client-facing teams, and technology partners.
- Build strong relationships across BondNav leadership, Trading, Sales, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Technoloy, QA, infracstructure, vendors, and external partners.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and alignment across business, product, technology, and client-facing teams.
Release Management, Quality Assurance & Production Readiness
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test design, business scenario validation, coordination, defect triage, stakeholder sign-off, and release readiness.
- Partner with QA, engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure features meet business requirements, workflow expectations, operational needs, and production-quality standards.
- Prepare release notes, user documentation, training materials, product updates, and adoption communications for new platform capabilities.
- Support rollout planning, issue resolution, post-release validation, and stakeholder communications.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role in financial services, fintech, capital markets, or trading technology.
- Strong fixed income capital markets knowledge, including bond trading concepts, pricing, execution workflows, market structure, trade lifecycle, and post-trade processing.
- Experience with trading platforms, order management systems, trade lifecycle workflows, financial market technology platforms, or capital markets applications.
- Hands‑on Agile delivery experience, including backlog ownership, sprint planning, release planning, dependency management, stakeholder communication, and delivery execution.
- Proven ability to manage a product delivery pipeline from intake through prioritization, requirements, development, testing, release, adoption, and post‑release support.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery practices, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint boards, dashboards, reporting, and backlog hygiene.
- Demonstrated project management discipline with the ability to manage concurrent workstreams, track milestones, communicate status, elevate risks, and drive accountability.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs, client requirements, and trading workflows into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance product ownership, business analysis, project management, and delivery management in a fast‑paced capital markets technology environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with wealth management, advisor platforms, fixed income distribution, institutional trading, dealer workflows, or electronic trading platforms.
- Experience with Bloomberg TOMS, OMS platforms, fixed income trading systems, trade management platforms, or trading workflow integrations.
- Familiarity with structured products, new issue workflows, secondary trading, advisor tools, dealer‑to‑client platforms, or capital markets distribution platforms.
- Experience supporting client onboarding, platform demonstrations, and post‑implementation adoption.
- Experience with platform modernization, integrations, APIs, reporting, and SaaS platforms.
- Understanding of applicable regulatory and compliance considerations for fixed income trading, including FINRA, SEC, and MSRB requirements.
- CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Scrum, PMP, or related Agile/project management certification is a plus.
