PROCEPTBioRobotics is hiring a Senior Product Manager for the HYDROS™ Robotic System. The role focuses on end‑to‑end product development, from strategy to launch, with an emphasis on software innovation and AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive software strategy for AI capabilities and system connectivity.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on customer needs and business objectives.
- Integrate Voice of Customers and Voice of Sales into product strategy and planning.
- Lead the design of an integrated digital ecosystem, covering cloud services, data workflows, and secure remote access.
- Product Management
- Own the whole product lifecycle—from ideation to post‑launch support.
- Develop deep clinical and technical knowledge of aquablation therapy and urological anatomy.
- Define hardware‑connectivity requirements and partner with engineering to implement connectivity features.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (SOC‑2, ISO27001, HIPAA).
- Design and build customer‑facing portals including surgeon dashboards and sales tools.
- Lead user research and collect field feedback to improve product usability.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Lead cross‑functional teams and influence decision‑making at all levels.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers (e.g., surgeons).
- Market Launch and Adoption
- Manage product releases, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery.
- Develop launch plans in collaboration with commercial support teams.
- Support training materials, clinical documentation, and educational resources.
- Assist early product launches during the Limited Market Release (LMR).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software‑based product management in the medical device industry (or a comparable field with strong cybersecurity/regulatory demands).
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and initiative‑driven leadership skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Hybrid work model—3 days per week in the office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS).
- Familiarity with AI software development, cybersecurity, and HIPAA.
- Knowledge of licensing and upgrade concepts, with experience building SaaS or subscription‑based models.
- Experience with Jira.
Benefits
Pay Range: $166,230 to $195,560. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week on site. Opportunity to travel up to 15% of the time.
