About the role
You will drive the development of a high-impact digital product in collaboration with a federal ministry. This role combines end-to-end product strategy with the direct management and professional development of up to four product managers.

What you'll do
- Own the strategic direction and lifecycle of your product from initial discovery through to delivery.
- Define clear project objectives and create a measurable product strategy.
- Lead an interdisciplinary team using iterative, hypothesis-driven methods.
- Manage up to four (Senior) Product Managers, supporting their career growth and contributing to the internal product community.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and project partners to ensure alignment.
- Optionally handle project management duties, including budget oversight and controlling.
Requirements
- Proven experience launching and scaling digital products or services.
- Background in both lateral leadership of interdisciplinary teams and direct personnel management of product professionals.
- User-centric, data-driven mindset for product development.
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse target groups, including ministry-level stakeholders.
- Strong interest in public sector transformation and the administrative landscape.
- Fluency in German (C1) and English.

- Experience in (co-)project management, including budget and controlling responsibilities.

- Salary range: 77,000 to 85,000 Euro gross per year.
