About the Position: Correctional Program Team Lead is a professional supervisor of correctional case management positions or correctional programs. Employees at this level perform work in a specialized unit or area for offenders with special needs, or in coordinating the placement and transfer of offenders. Accountable for obtaining and verifying information from incarcerated adult offenders and evaluating offenders' institutional adjustment, attitudes toward society, and offenders release plans. Employees work on complex cases; prepare reports on incarcerated offenders; and make recommendations for job assignments, facility transfers, and recommend disciplinary actions.
What you'll need to be Successful: To be successful in this position, you will need to be highly organized, pay close attention to detail, follow MSPB AND MDOC Policies and Procedures, have good communication skills, and be able to meet deadlines.
