We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager - Commercial Electric to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of complex, high-value commercial construction projects through all phases of design, planning, construction, and project close-out. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all project objectives are met on time and within budget. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including estimating, preconstruction, purchasing, and field operations.
- Lead project teams and facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure all project objectives and goals are met, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
- Manage project resources and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective execution of project tasks.
- Coordinate and oversee all project activities, including site work, building construction, and installation of electrical systems.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proven experience in managing high-value commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Experience in various sectors including Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Data Center, Technology, Public Works.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to oversee project execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- PMP certification is a plus.
