Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the strategy and daily operations of OCP S.A.F.E. for our Enterprise and Data Center SSDs. As a TPM, you will define and execute comprehensive plans to ensure timely delivery of OCP SAFE Evaluation, collaborate with multiple engineering teams, and drive vendor management with OCP Security Review Providers (SRPs). You will be expected to have a strong technical understanding of the subject matter and be able to grow into more complex technical leadership roles.
Location
Daily onsite presence at our San Jose headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans for OCP S.A.F.E. across multiple product generations, engineering teams, and SRPs.
- Manage vendor relationships with SRPs to ensure effective collaboration, issue resolution, and timely certification delivery.
- Collaborate with security engineering teams to ensure compliance with OCP S.A.F.E. specifications, cryptography implementations in storage applications.
- Track status on current certification submissions in progress, unblock engineers, and escape blocker issues to management as needed.
- Work closely with business teams to provide visibility into certification schedules, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Drive process improvements through checklists, best practices, post-mortems to reduce QA time for certifications.
- Co-manage OCP S.A.F.E. program priorities target dates budget along with stakeholders.
- Maintain program status drive dependencies/actions across geographies.
- Provide regular updates on program status stakeholders.
- Represent security team customer meetings industry forums working groups.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree 15+ years relevant industry experience or Master's degree 13+ years’ experience as Technical Program Manager.
- Must have comprehensive experience with FIPS certification process.
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects across multiple stakeholders; excellent communication skills required.
- Experience working with third party vendors.
