Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing structural steel projects from award through completion.
- Help manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules.
- Support communication between the office, field crews, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Track project progress, costs, and resource allocation against budgets and timelines.
- Aid in quality control and safety compliance efforts on project sites.
- Attend project meetings and assist in preparing regular status reports.
Who You Are
- 1+ years of experience in a construction project coordination, field, or engineering role (internship experience considered). Experience in steel fabrication or structural construction is a significant plus.
- Basic ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential; familiarity with project management software is a strong advantage.
