Senior Project Manager - Scenic Construction
The Fix Creative Ltd is working with a leading scenery construction production company to find a Senior Project Manager . They create extraordinary experiences for clients and push creative boundaries. The ideal candidate will have experience in theatre, immersive experiences, events, mini activations and set design.
The role is a rare opportunity to join a growing agency passionate about groundbreaking projects and making the impossible possible. It will be 5 days a week onsite to immerse fully in the work.
Responsibilities
- Independent management of projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Generate and refine quotes and initial scheduling.
- Prepare and manage budgets and schedules, keeping clients and stakeholders up to date with progress.
- Oversee multiple projects, collaborating with the team to deliver on deadlines.
- Excellent communication with the entire team and clients.
- Produce detailed technical designs to enable workshop fabrication.
- Develop and specify suitable build methods, techniques, and materials.
- Track progress, manage changes, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required skills
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
- Demonstrable experience of project management within a workshop environment or similar.
- Strong track record of successful relationship building.
- Commercial acumen, and confidence with negotiation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player who isn’t afraid of getting stuck in and collaborating with others.
- Ability to adapt and keep on track with ever-changing specifications.
- Enthusiastic problem solver.
