Senior Mechanical Project Manager
About the Role
An established Building Services contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value commercial mechanical projects (£1m-£10m+) across London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical projects from contract award through to final handover.
- Lead project teams, subcontractors and site supervisors.
- Control project budgets, programmes, procurement and commercial performance.
- Manage client relationships and attend progress/design meetings.
- Coordinate design, commissioning and project handover.
- Ensure compliance with H&S, quality and CDM regulations.
- Monitor project costs, variations and programme performance.
Requirements
- Proven Mechanical Project Manager experience within Building Services.
- Experience delivering commercial mechanical projects (£1m-£10m+).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical building services.
- Commercially aware with excellent leadership skills.
- Experience managing programmes, procurement and subcontractors.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Managers Card.
- Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts.
- BIM experience.
