Senior Project Manager
Central Bristol | £75,000 - £85,000 + Comprehensive Package + Completion Bonus (Fixed-Term Contract)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a highly regarded main contractor, taking a leading role within a wider Operations Team on the delivery of a major £60 million redevelopment scheme in Central Bristol .
This is a key appointment on a prestigious, fast-paced project requiring an individual who thrives within challenging construction environments and has a proven track record of delivering complex schemes safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract , with an attractive completion bonus included as part of the overall package.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Director and wider site leadership team, you will take ownership of a substantial section of the development, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors, driving programme performance and ensuring successful project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who enjoys technically challenging schemes and wants to play a significant role on one of Bristol's flagship construction projects.
Essential Experience
To be considered, applicants should demonstrate:
- Proven experience delivering individual construction packages valued at £20 million+
- Background with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor
- Experience delivering major new build , redevelopment or large-scale refurbishment schemes
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Excellent programme management and commercial awareness
- Ability to successfully deliver projects within demanding timescales and live construction environments
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must hold:
- CSCS Black Manager Card
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid at Work (current certification)
Desirable Qualifications
The following would be considered advantageous:
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
- Relevant construction management qualification (HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent)
