An industry-leading, highly successful national consultancy is seeking a client-facing Senior Project Manager to join a specialise Life Science scheme working with a major blue chip client.
Based in Hertfordshire, this role will oversee a major commercial and scientific development. Backed by key strategic project wins and a robust pipeline, our client is expanding their team to support continuous business growth in the area.
The long-term pipeline of work covers both Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of project management, contract administration, and delivery of the project under predominantly NEC contracts.
- Work in a client facing capacity, ensuring seamless communication, milestone achievement, and delivery on time, within budget, and to exemplary standards.
- Provide strategic counsel to optimise project outcomes across key drivers: cost, schedule, and quality.
- Direct project governance, compliance, and systems implementation across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Desirable Experience:
- 5+ years of post-degree experience in a Project Manager capacity.
- Previous experience working in the Life Science or Healthcare sectors would be highly advantageous.
- Proven track record within a building consultancy setting, including hands-on NEC contract administration is desirable.
- Driven to progress within a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
- Relevant Prior Roles: Associate Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Principal Project Manager, or Project Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional chartership or membership (e.g., MAPM, MCIOB, MRICS) is highly desirable.
