Senior Project Controls Manager
Bristol (Hybrid Working)
£45,000 – £60,000 per annum + benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop project controls across complex infrastructure, construction and engineering programmes.
- Deliver integrated project controls including cost control, planning, scheduling, risk management, change control and performance reporting within a PMO or programme environment.
- Establish performance measurement baselines, implement earned value management (EVM) and oversee cost, schedule and risk integration.
- Manage project controls reporting, governance frameworks and KPI tracking to ensure accurate programme performance visibility.
- Lead change management processes, support forecasting and cost management activities, and provide strategic insight to senior stakeholders.
- Manage and develop project controls teams, ensuring alignment across planning, cost engineering and risk functions.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in project controls within infrastructure, construction or engineering environments.
- Proven knowledge of planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, and experience in cost management, risk analysis, and project reporting.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and programme governance structures.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to operate within a fast‑paced project or PMO environment.
- Professional accreditation such as APM or PMI is desirable.
