Electrical Project Manager – Location: Brent Cross, North London
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Package

Our client, a respected Building Services Contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery of a flagship 600-bed student accommodation development in Brent Cross. This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex MEP projects across London, with a healthy pipeline of secured work spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use and education sectors.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Project Director and manage all aspects of the electrical package within the construction programme.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors and specialist subcontractors.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical and main contractor teams.
- Monitor project progress, labour and resource allocation.
- Manage procurement of plant, materials and subcontract packages.
- Ensure works comply with project specifications and current industry standards.
- Attend and lead client and coordination meetings.
- Support the commercial team with variations, forecasting and cost control.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and project handover.
- Promote high standards of health, safety and quality across site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the Building Services or M&E contracting sector.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing project programmes and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to drive project performance.
- SMSTS and CSCS qualifications.
- Relevant Electrical Engineering or Building Services qualifications.
