We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an established engineering and manufacturing organisation, responsible for managing the successful delivery of major projects across time, cost and quality .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, risks and resources.
- Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures and master schedules.
- Monitor project performance, identify variances and implement recovery plans where required.
- Manage subcontractor planning and performance.
- Identify and manage project risks and critical path activities.
- Lead project planning and progress meetings with key stakeholders.
- Provide clear project updates, highlighting achievements, risks and required actions.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, commercial and supplier teams.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment .
- Strong project planning and scheduling experience.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive, tenacious "can-do" attitude and strong stakeholder management skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
Desirable
Engineering degree, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification, SAP experience, facilities project experience, military/defence project experience or German language skills.
