About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical projects from conception through to successful delivery. Based in our office in
Coventry, West Midlands, UK , you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and finalization of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage multiple stakeholders, mitigate risks, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client's service offerings and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and operation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end telecommunications projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management.
- Develop detailed project plans, setting clear objectives and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and closure reports.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project participants.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and processes.
- Successfully close out projects, conduct post-project reviews, and capture lessons learned.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing complex telecommunications projects.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and project lifecycles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a significant advantage.
