About the Role
Our client is looking for a results-oriented Project Manager with expertise in commercial fit-out projects to join their esteemed team in Edinburgh . This senior role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing all phases of fit-out projects, from initial design and procurement through to final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of commercial fit-out projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, liaising with all stakeholders.
- Oversee site operations, including the management of contractors, subcontractors, and direct labour.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
- Manage project finances, including budget control, cost reporting, and variation management.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders, fostering positive working relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the commercial fit-out sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex fit-out projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building services relevant to fit-out works.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM) is an advantage.
