About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their operations in Wolverhampton . This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing aviation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry's project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Manage project execution, track progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
- Conduct project post-mortems, identify successful and unsuccessful project elements, and capture lessons learned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the aviation or aerospace sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects from initiation through to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
