About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Telecoms Project Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of complex projects in the Brighton area. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of telecommunications infrastructure deployment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be critical in navigating the challenges of the fast-paced telecoms landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of telecoms projects, including scope, budget, resources, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, define milestones, and establish clear deliverables.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal departments, to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, report on status, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager, specifically managing projects within the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and network deployment processes.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and associated tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is highly desirable.
