About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Brighton . This role is pivotal in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation, planning, and execution to monitoring and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress, report on key milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager , managing diverse technology projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and IT infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- A relevant IT qualification or certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) is highly desirable.
