About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Charity Project Manager to lead impactful initiatives from their base in Cardiff . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects that align with our client's strategic objectives and mission. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and within scope. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners, fostering strong working relationships to achieve project success and amplify the organization's positive influence within the community and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring all financial aspects are tracked, controlled, and reported accurately.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing timely and appropriate solutions.
- Communicate project progress, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and beneficiaries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management , with a strong understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively for complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within the non-profit or charity sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
