About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to spearhead exciting new projects in Cardiff , Wales. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of renewable energy projects, from initial conception and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of renewable energy projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and utility companies.
- Report on project progress, performance, and financial status to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant energy policies and regulatory frameworks in the UK.
