About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead key drug development initiatives in a fully remote setting. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and external partners in the UK . Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams through all phases of drug development, from discovery to market launch.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans effectively.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and manage project expenditures.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and key decisions to senior management.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contract research organizations (CROs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field; Master's degree or PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex drug development projects.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery, development, and regulatory processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with experience working in a remote team environment.
