About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction and renovation projects in Sheffield . This role requires a blend of architectural understanding and strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to construction and completion, liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and design teams. This is a key position for someone who excels at managing complex projects and driving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of architectural projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, tracking progress and mitigating risks.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise directly with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Oversee the procurement process, including tender evaluations and contract administration.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with design specifications.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect (RIBA Part III or equivalent) or hold a relevant project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2).
- Proven experience in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, preferably within the architectural or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and make informed decisions under pressure.
