About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of construction and development projects from their office in Sheffield . This role requires a blend of strong architectural understanding and exceptional project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating all project activities, managing consultant teams, and liaising with clients and contractors. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of architectural projects, from initial feasibility studies to final handover and post-occupancy evaluation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these objectives.
- Appoint and manage consultant teams, ensuring effective collaboration and integration of services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing their expectations.
- Oversee the procurement process and manage contractor performance throughout the construction phase.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building regulations, planning policies, and health and safety legislation.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Architecture or a related construction management field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in managing complex architectural or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard architectural design tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
