About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Telecoms Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex network projects in Cardiff . This leadership role is crucial for managing all phases of project lifecycles, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively managing project teams, stakeholders, and risks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecoms projects simultaneously.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates, and deliver comprehensive project reports.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management , specifically within the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrable success in managing large-scale network deployment or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with necessary on-site collaboration.
