About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Telecoms Project Manager to lead significant projects within their growing telecommunications division. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple complex telecommunications projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalating where necessary.
- Communicate project progress, status, and key metrics to stakeholders at all levels.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry, managing projects of significant scale.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent understanding of telecommunications technologies and deployment processes.
- Prince2 or PMP certification is highly desirable.
