About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly organised Telecommunications Project Manager to lead key projects from initiation to successful completion in Belfast . This role is instrumental in overseeing the deployment of new telecommunications infrastructure and services, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation, playing a crucial part in the company's strategic growth. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of telecommunications projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external vendors.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications sector, managing complex infrastructure or service deployment projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
